This is a rare opportunity if you are a Medium format 3d enthusiast. This was a prototype I had designed and built by an opto mechanical design firm to my specs back in the late 2000s.

The goal was to make a single panel that housed two 47mm fl Schneider Digitar lenses, with the shutter releases synced with a single cable release as seen in the picture. It took 1.5 years and several prototypes to reach this working model. My plan was to integrate it with a film back for a relatively compact and super sharp MF 3d camera.

But I got side tracked by life, and never did phase II. It was ran through several tests at the lab, and synced very well up to 1/250th... A lot was dependent on how fast you pushed the cable release, the faster the push, the better the sync, even at 1/500th. I got a total of 5 pair in 5 years. Shoot some video of the sync for those interested.
If u mount this to a film back, you would need to set the distance to either a fixed focus distance (ideal considering the relatively short fl) Considering 3d should not have subjects closer than 9ft from the camera, I would set the focus distance fixed at about 16 -18 ft, to cover approx 10ft to infinity in sharp focus... Pls run your own hyperfocal calcs. Everyone has a different methods of calc. Or, if you are brave enough, develop your own focus mechanism, so you can move the lens panel up and back about 1/4 inch.
It's designed to work with the same Digitar 47mm fl lenses, and includes the 3d body, (which also doubles as a 6x17 Pan camera using Fotoman lens panels), stereo lens panel with integrated Schneider 47mm Helical focus mounts. I will be offering this sale for awhile hoping someone gets the benefits of my efforts, if after time, it does not sell, I will disassemble and sell the lenses separately... This lenses were never used in the field, only assembled in the panel and tested for sync. The center to center lens spacing is 72mm. The size of the image circle is much larger than anything you could give it with MF film. On my other cameras, it easily covered 56x65mm image size. The width of the panel is approx 6.5 inches.

The machining is all aircraft grade alum. The item "Stereo camera lens panel, Medium Format 3D, synced matched pair of 47mm Schneide" is in sale since Wednesday, December 6, 2017. This item is in the category "Cameras & Photo\Vintage Movie & Photography\Vintage Cameras\Stereo Cameras".
