RARE Gold Safari Leica IIIA Copy w/ Snakeskin Cover & Elmar 50mm Lens. The following information describes what we've found about this product during our evaluation. Snakeskin covering is real and intact. Metal parts are heavily tarnished and pitted in some areas but gives it an interesting appearance. Not sure if painted gold trim above and below the snakeskin is original, but regardless, has brassing.
Leather case is a little rough and coming apart at some of the seams. Case has been restitched in some areas. Shutter works well but not tested for accuracy. Second shutter curtain is a little warped.
Lens glass and blades are clean. Camera, Elmar 50mm f/3.5 Collapsible Lens w/ Cap, Leather Case. Specific findings about the parts of this item (if applicable).
