Beautiful piece was 1 of the personal cameras of a camera shop owner who owned his store for nearly 60 Years. The leather handle shows wear, although it is complete, which is unusual for these pieces. The only other blemishes we could find on this piece are a few minor wear marks to the leather covering the mahogany panel over the lens shade and some minor fading in color in places on the leather covering. The bellows is complete and supple. The Graflex plate magazine is in excellent condition with the leather being soft and supple.
The leather for the viewfinder is very nice, although somewhat stiff and showing a slight amount of wear at 3 of the folds. The lens is clear and appears to be in mint condition with the exception of a small outer surface scratch on the interior lens perimeter (last pic). This piece is one of thousands of photography items we will be listing over the next few months in order to liquidate the vintage stock of a Grand Rapids Michigan Camera Store that was a local landmark for over 60 years.
