Whilst the housings were new at the time, the glass has always had a hint of warmth and softness that you only usually get with antique lenses, that makes it particularly flattering for presenters and on screen contributor's skin tones. They flare beautifully when given a strong light source and often produce a gentle green bokeh. Whilst they have been looked after there is a few dust particles just inside the front element - this could be gotten rid of during the next service, or if you're patient & handy with jewellery screwdrivers but it doesn't show on camera. There is no mould inside, or oil on the iris blades.
They have been kept in a warm dry environment and the iris, zoom and focus rings all move smoothly with reassuring weight to them. As far as I can tell, they're in great condition and ready to go.
