Rare 1860's Horne & Thornthwaite Triple Lens Stereo Wet Plate Camera

   It features a sliding baffle within the front standard, which blocks the mono lens and opens the stereo lenses when locked in the up position, or blocks the stereo lenses and opens the mono lens in the down position. It also provides a novel way for storing the ground glass and a double plate holder within the camera while traveling, in which the ground glass fits into a slot hidden under a skinny hinged panel just ahead of the focal plane so that the plate holder can slip into the normal focal plane slot.
