   This camera was designed by Fairchild Aircraft and several, including this one, was built under license by Keystone Manufacturing Company in Boston, Mass. The F-8 was mostly likely used for aerial view reconnaissance by the US Navy or Army Air Corps, used in both reconnaissance and bomber aircraft, operated handheld out of the window hatch.
