   The Yashica 635 was my first'real' camera 42 years ago and I have literally thousands of photos to attest to it's capabilities. Released in June 1958 it cost. The Yashica 635 uses 120 film or alternatively 35mm film by using an adaptor kit (not supplied). For some reason many of the adaptor kits seem to have become separated from their cameras.    The Yashica A was released in 1958. This model has the 3-element Yashimar f/3.5 lenses and it has a Copal shutter with speeds from B 1/25 sec to 1/300. The Yashica A bodies were made in both grey and black models - this is the black one of course with black leatherette. No dents or dings, creamy-smooth focus; viewfinder hood opens/closes with panache; apertures, speeds working just as they should.
