


















Early vintage Japanese 35mm slr camera with through the lens viewing with a waist level viewfinder. This camera also has an optical non ttl viewfinder off to the side on the top of the camera. The Asahiflex series of cameras were the first 35mm slr cameras made in Japan.
Very interesting "collectible" early interchangeable lens 35mm slr cameras from Japan. Shutter speed range is 1/500 to 1/25 sec, & B. Film rewind lever is on the bottom of the camera. Built in waist level viewfinder with pop up magnifier. Matte focusing screen with "cross hairs".
Shutter curtains are in good condition. Uses lenses with a 37mm screw in thread mount. Made in Japan by Asahi-Kogaku. Takumar 50mm f/3.5 standard lens to fit the Asahiflex series of 35mm film cameras. Aperture range is f/3.5 to f/16. Close focus down to 3'. Distance scale is in feet.
