If youre reading this then you know exactly what youre looking at, except that youve probably never come across this camera in as nice (or complete) condition as this one. Indeed, its very rare to find one of these with the original case and instructions and multiple backs (Ive even got the release cable).
The bellows shows a little wear at the front, but is quite intact and ingrate shape considering the vintage of about 1930. A friend of mine who is quite expert on vintage cameras referred to this as being in very good condition or better and I think youll agree that they dont come much better than this. About the only negative to be noted is that the carrying case has come apart at the top and its missing the key. Otherwise, I think this is about as nice as youll find! 08/12/19 - I just wanted to add a few things. I have noticed while working with this that the lateral adjustment is frozen in it's guide. I also should point out that if not noticed already, this has the 2.8 Tessar with the later and improved rimset Compur shutter. I'll keep posting on the lateral adjustment.
