Serial number of the camera is 1833688. The camera is in generally very good condition, though the exterior would benefit from a gentle cleaning. Some minor rub marks on the sides and bottom.
The previous owner put a sticker with his name & address on the bottom, but since the bottom still has the thin clear plastic strip on it, this sticker might be removed easily with some naptha. The viewfinder window might also benefit from a gentle cleaning.
The camera would benefit from new light seals in the film compartment. Not knowing the past history of this camera, but just on a visual inspection of the film compartment, it appears the original light seals may never have been replaced.
The camera could probably be used just as it is, but new light seals would eventually be needed for long-term use. We tested the camera with fresh batteries and everything seems to work fine, though we did not run film through it. Comes with a Minolta MD 50mm f1.7 lens (serial number 9331763). The exterior of the lens is in very good condition, though it might benefit from a gentle cleaning. The lens has a Minolta UV filter.
The glass of the lens is also in generally very good condition. The very back glass has some very minor smudge marks and would benefit from a gentle cleaning. This is a nice model Minolta- has program automatic exposure mode and aperture priority exposure mode, viewfinder information readings, 1/1000 second shutter speed, and more. We hope the photos above will help those who are interested. We will do our best to answer any questions.
Thanks and have a nice day. There will be no exceptions.
We hope that we have described our cameras to complete satisfaction. We are not on-line everyday though, so please be patient for the reply. This is to cover costs of boxes and packing material.
We do not make any profit from this.
