ROLLEIFLEX 3.5E (Type 2) TLR Camera with Zeiss Planar Lens 75mm & Case

ROLLEIFLEX 3.5E (Type 2) TLR Camera with Zeiss Planar Lens 75mm & Case. Based on basic research, I strongly believe this a a Rolleiflex 3.5E Type 2. The serial number is 186824. It's my understanding that the type 2 does not have a built in light meter. It reads Franke & Heidecke Syncro Compur outside the taking lens.
Cosmetics: The camera is in very good or better vintage condition. It has minor wear from normal use and age. It comes with original fitted leather case that is rough but usable (photo not included). Function: It will cock and fire at all shutter speeds and f stops including the slow speeds. It looks and sounds appropriate, fast to slow shutter and large to small aperture stops. I do not have film to test the transport but it looks nice and clean inside. I do not know why. It requires TLC to function and will probably need to be repaired. Also, this may be user error but I found that it is very difficult to change the ASA dial. I was able to move to larger ASA but could not move it back to smaller ones. This may need repair if it's important to you. Lenses & Screen: The taking lens has thin scratches/clean marks.

I do not see any fungus or concentrated haze. It may have mild haze near the front element that can only be seen when using the backlit flashlight test.

The aperture blades are clean, front and back. The viewing lens and or the focus screen has noticeable dust. It is very usable but needs a proper cleaning.

It also has some thin scratches. The lens focus is smooth and working, I had no problem bringing items into focus but did not check for distance accuracy. There may be minor issues that I have missed due to lack of specific knowledge about this camera. Please do independent research as to proper use, specs and compatibility. Are never included unless otherwise specified.
