Vintage Rectaflex Series B 35mm SLR camera with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 50mm f/2 lens. Rectaflex cameras were manufactured in Rome, Italy in the late 1940s and are considered among the earliest commercially produced 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras. These cameras are highly collectible and historically significant.
Lens: Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 50mm f/2. Camera is in vintage used condition with visible cosmetic wear and patina from age. Shutter button appears stuck and does not fire. Film advance knob is stiff and does not appear to engage properly. Aperture blades open and close smoothly.
Lens glass appears clear with typical dust/haze for its age. Camera has not been film tested. Back has not been opened and internal condition is unknown. Included is Rectaflex Series B camera body with Schneider Xenon 50mm f/2 lens. This is a rare early Italian SLR camera with the desirable Xenon f/2 lens. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
