Vintage Micro-Nikkor 55 mm 1:2.8 lens. Some tiny dust and particles inside the lens (as pretty much expected). Should not affect the image quality at all. The body of the lens has been engraved with the original owner's initials, as you can see from the images. There is one screw missing from the back of the body (see the images). Heavy-duty, extremely well-made lens with razor-sharp glass. No visible scratches on its surface, no mold or fungus. The blades work very smoothly and well and are free of oil.
There is a small paint stain, visible when you extend the lens to its fullest focal length (see images). Less the couple of cosmetic issues (the engraving, the spot of paint and a missing screw), which are all irrelevant, this lens represents what Nikon lenses have become known for: it is extra-sharp and crystal-clear.
And it was made at the time when they were making the best glass. Helps, if you want to make super-images.
