The FED-3 camera is a rangefinder camera in a cast aluminum case, equipped with an optical rangefinder combined with a viewfinder. The camera is designed for standard 35 mm perforated film and a frame format of 24x36 mm. It was produced by the Kharkov Production Machine-Building Association "FED" from 1961 to 1979. The release options differed in the shape of the viewfinder window, the presence of a cocking head or a lever cocking, and the inscription FED-3.
