This is a camera that I've owned for 8 years, but have found myself reaching for smaller and smaller cameras as I get older. This was designed to be used on a studio stand in a studio, but I used to take it in the field (but only within walking distance of the car).
I like being able to swap lenses among different cameras, so I made the included adapter lens board. It's made from laser-cut birch plywood, with a genuine Linhof adapter lens board section (cut from a Linhof 8x10 Kardan-to-Technika adapter board) attached. I know the back of the board should be painted flat black, but I couldn't bring myself to paint over the varnished wood. Again, it's in much better shape (and the wood is gorgeous and has the original varnish finish) than most cameras 120 years old, but there are a few things you could consider to make the camera better. First of all, the bellows has some holes in the bottom corners. It used to be light-tight, but I guess age finally got to it. I'd just replace it rather than trying to patch it. The wooden knob for geared focus on the left side has a bent shaft, so it wobbles as you turn it (but it is firmly attached to the shaft -- it's been this way since I bought it).
