Vintage 1950s NIKON S Rangefinder Camera with Box & 50mm f/2 Nippon Kogaku Lens

For sale is a vintage Nikon S rangefinder camera. I believe this camera was made in about 1951 or 1952 because it has a 7 digit serial number (6106020) rather than an 8 digit. This camera does show signs of age/wear, but is just in lovely shape for it's age. It has a shallow ding to the bottom, and paint wear throughout but no other major problems or issues. The camera seems to stick a bit when frame advancing, when you push the button it sort of sticks and won't finish until you move the winder.

I would guess it needs minor service and cleaning to fix this issue. The camera comes with a 50mm f/2 Nikkor prime lens that was most likely the original lens.

The lens is clear, though I did observe some debris inside. I did not see any fungus or haze inside the lens. The camera comes with original case (kind of worn), box, and instructions which are a rare find for cameras of this era. It is a great example and would be a pefect addition to any photography collection!
