Rare Zeiss Ikon Contax III camera with the sought-after Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 50mm f/1.5 lens. A collectible piece of photographic history.
I gave it only a quick look. The shutter winds but I couldn't get it to fire.
The self-timer seems to move. Beyond that, I didn't test anything further.
The lens is marked Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 50mm f/2 - a very desirable lens in its own right. Condition is exactly as shown in the photos.
It may need work or be best for parts, display, or restoration. Comes with the original Zeiss Ikon case. Please check all the photos carefully to judge condition for yourself.
