Vintage Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic 35mm Camera SPll, Case Strap & Lens. This film camera was my grandfather's. He worked for Zenith and this was his personal camera.
It has been in our family a long time. It was bought new and well taken care of. The viewfinder looks to be clean, the film advance works properly, the timer works, the lens comes off with ease and focuses as should. I didn't open the battery compartment so I couldn't test the meter but it worked the last time it was used about 15 years ago. The strap is in very good condition as is the camera itself.
The case has some wear on it. The lens is in excellent condition and a lens filter was always on for protection. The lens is made by Asahi and is multi coated, 55mm. (SPII) heralded the arrival of the SMC lenses. Among some improvements were better metering system and film transport. A hot shoe for flash was added and the synchronization (FP or X) was placed on a dial switch located below the rewind crank. That is all I know about the camera.
