A vintage camera "Krasnogorsk 3". The Krasnogorsk-3 is a spring-wound 16mm mirror-reflex movie camera designed and manufactured in the USSR by KMZ. The camera was produced between 1971 and 1993. It was one of the most popular 16mm movie cameras in Eastern Europe, where it made a prominent appearance in Krzysztof Kielowski's 1979 film Camera Buff, and continues to enjoy considerable popularity in the West. The K-3 has been adopted by many film schools, including the University of Southern California's School of Cinema and Television. Its low price, rugged construction and sophisticated optics have made it very popular with both beginning filmmakers and professionals. Lens: Meteor 5-1 F=17-69mm, f/1:1.9. Film: 16-mm colour or black-and-white, size of a frame: 10,05x7,6mm. Frames per second (shutter speed) range:à8 (1/20), 12 (1/30), 16 (1/40), 24 (1/60), 32 (1/80), 48 (1/120), and single frame. The half automatic aperture setting with the thru-the-lens (TTL) exposure-meter provides the high accuracy of the film exposition. The matte screen provides the clearance setting control. The parallaxless reflex viewfinder provides the complete correspondence of the field of sight with the shot frame, appearing on the movie film. Spring motor-drive works without any battery, one cocking provide 5m film winding. The half-automatic film loading into the film track simplifiers and make it faster to prepare the camera for the work. Minimum focusing distance 2m (without close up lens). Viewfinder has diopter correction (+5...4).

The camera is in used condition. The lens is in general clean, but with several specks of dust. There are some scracthes on the lens glass.

There is dust in the viewfinder. There is some kind of dust on the battery compartment. The light meter wasn't tested.
