This is a NICE Old Heavy Camera! It's Not perfect, but it's got a lot of good going for it! A Nice example of a 80+ year old Used camera. It's technically a "Rangefinder" camera but it looks like a big Hasselblad SLR. It takes 620 Roll Film for making 6X9 cm images. It was made from about the mid 1940's through the mid 1950's--- I don't know exactly when.

That lens is a 100mm f/3.5 Kodak Ektar--- a venerable workhorse from Eastman. It also comes with it's original Leather Case in pretty nice condition!

It's in Very Good Condition overall--- it has some light wear, scuffs, scratches, and some spots of faint corrosion---- normal age wear and tear--- but really pretty nice for the age. The various latches work as far as I can tell, and the lens unscrews outward fairy easily. The Shutter cocks and it trips but no guarantees on the shutter speeds and other shooting functions. I don't even know if I'm doing it correctly--- it's a quirky camera and I don't have knowledge of all the nuances.

The focus is fairly smooth, and the aperture changes well and is fairly clean of oil--- but naturally, it has Not Been Fully Tested. But, everything else that should be on the camera looks to be there and in great condition! The LENS glass is BEAUTIFUL--- looks about as good as can be expected for 80 years old--- No serious haze or glue separation, barely any dust specs either. The rangefinder works too, but is weak.

Inside the film chamber it looks very good too, although no guarantees on it's operation. Looks like it was served twice in the 1960's. So consider it a collectible, or an Excellent candidate for some rehabilitation/restoration work---- so please don't expect it to be like new ---- it has some issues, both known and unknown. What you see is what you'll get--- the actual item for sale is pictured--- please check them all out. It will be packed well and safe.

I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you. I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken.
But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect. Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can't describe every every millimeter of it--- and I might have missed something. What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown. Let's make a deal.
