Krauss Paris Quatryl 15cm f/4.5 cine lens, originally designed for use with a French Ol'Ywood 35mm motion picture camera. A rare and historically interesting vintage lens with its original construction and brass mounting section.
The lens features a two-piece construction. The brass rear mounting section unscrews from the main optical body and attaches by a threaded connection. The end of the brass mounting section features an external thread ; the exact thread standard has not been identified.
The optics are in good condition, with possible light dust and minor age-related marks. The aperture operates and the blades open and close, but the aperture ring is stiff and may occasionally bind.
