   139 Quartz is a 35mm SLR that was introduced in 1979 and manufactured up until 1987. The 139Q had a quartz-timed, electronically-controlled vertical metal shutter that was very advanced for its day. It has speeds of 11 seconds to 1/1000 of a sec in auto, and 1 to 1/1000 in manual exposure mode. The metering system is a center-weighted. System with a range of 0 to 18 EV.    Very unique modification of two Yashica cameras into one stereo camera to shoot 3D images. The aperture width is 32mm and the film advance sequence is 1-3-1... This comes from the estate of well-known stereo photographer and collector. Seems to be working OK but have not been tested with film. David Burder writes, regarding this camera.    The Yashica LM was introduced in October 1957 and 37,872 were produced; not a lot really, which is probably why we don't see many for sale today. It has auto-stop when winding on the film and the shutter is cocked by the lever on the side of the taking lens, which I personally favour over the later crank handle of the Yashica-Mat and other models.    You have perhaps never seen a Yashica D with this colour combination. They are very rarely seen. So here's a chance to add something rather special to your collection. The Yashica-D was made between 1958 to 1974. It features quick and easily visible aperture and speed setting by thumb wheels which display the readings in a small window above the top lens. The shutter is cocked by the lever on the side of the taking lens which I personally favour over the later crank handle of the Yashica-Mat and other models - much more reliable and just as quick to wind on, in my opinion. ...

   The Yashica 635 was my first'real' camera 42 years ago and I have literally thousands of photos to attest to it's capabilities. Released in June 1958 it cost. The Yashica 635 uses 120 film or alternatively 35mm film by using an adaptor kit (not supplied). For some reason many of the adaptor kits seem to have become separated from their cameras. This 635 has the Yashikor 80mm f/3.5 lenses, (some, though hard to find, have Yashinon lenses and are worth even more), and has a Copal MXV 1 sec to 1/500th and B shutter with XM flash sync.    The Yashica A was released in 1958. This model has the 3-element Yashimar f/3.5 lenses and it has a Copal shutter with speeds from B 1/25 sec to 1/300. The Yashica A bodies were made in both grey and black models - this is the black one of course with black leatherette. No dents or dings, creamy-smooth focus; viewfinder hood opens/closes with panache; apertures, speeds working just as they should.
