Vintage Belplasca stereo camera, serial number 02699, manufactured by VEB Belca-Werk in Dresden, East Germany. This is a highly collectible 35mm stereo/3D camera featuring a matched pair of Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 37.5mm f/3.5 lenses.
Film was already loaded in the camera. I followed the instructions, advanced the film, and fired the shutter once or twice. The camera appeared to operate normally. The film was subsequently advanced/rewound and successfully removed from the camera without any issues. The film was not developed, so I cannot verify the actual photographic results, shutter-speed accuracy, or image quality. Please consider the camera mechanically tested only to the extent described above. Overall, the camera presents very well for its age, with normal signs of age and use. The lenses appear clean and the camera has attractive original cosmetics.
