   Very attractive Mahogany and Brass half plate field camera. Ingenious index pin system for rising front. There is a lovely f8 Rapid Rectilinear lens on the correct circular lens panel. It has one (f8) waterhouse stop. Clement & Gilmer Suc'rs. (Clement & Gilmer succeeded the brand Laverne in 1890). Overall condition of the camera is beautiful.    This vintage camera appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition for it's age, the glass checked with flashlight, there's no scratches, fungus or haze, coating is great. The only thing Id like to disclose is that the front lens cover panel is slightly concave(see 11th picture) because some heavy books put on the camera for many years, the two light value knobs turning a bit tight(to speed 1/500), Please ensure you understand this when purchasing. The shutter release button doesnt instantly spring back after being depressed, but it does gradually within about a second.
