Vintage NIKON S 35mm Rangefinder Camera with Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 11.5 5cm Lens

Up for sale here we have a RARE Vintage NIKON S 35mm Rangefinder Camera w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 1:1.5 5cm Lens. We had to do a lot of research to find out the model. We went to a online Nikon museum and found that this is a S model (we think so anyways). It was manufactured in 1951 we believe.

Also with the camera is a Carl Zeiss lens. The lens has no fungus or haze or any internal issues as far as we can see. We haven't tested anything on the camera as it is not in our wheel house. The camera is not perfect and shows age and use.

The back has some bubbling on the black coating that was put on when manufactured. There are a few dings on the corners, but nothing major. The inside of the camera is very clean as far as we can tell. We cleaned a little on the exterior, but it could use a little more detail cleaning. The leather case/cover shows age and the seams have come apart a bit on the top seam.

From what we can tell both the lens and the camera body are pretty rare and desirable. Most likely the camera could use a service as it is 68 years old.
