   Up for sale here we have a RARE Vintage NIKON S 35mm Rangefinder Camera w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 1:1.5 5cm Lens. We had to do a lot of research to find out the model. We went to a online Nikon museum and found that this is a S model (we think so anyways). It was manufactured in 1951 we believe. Also with the camera is a Carl Zeiss lens. The lens has no fungus or haze or any internal issues as far as we can see. We haven't tested anything on the camera as it is not in our wheel house. The camera is not perfect and shows age and use.    The Yashica 635 was my first'real' camera 42 years ago and I have literally thousands of photos to attest to it's capabilities. Released in June 1958 it cost. The Yashica 635 uses 120 film or alternatively 35mm film by using an adaptor kit (not supplied). For some reason many of the adaptor kits seem to have become separated from their cameras.    I bought the camera new in the early 70's and used it until Sony came out with their Mavica FD91 in the late 90's. Have had this camera displayed in my office for 20 or 30 years.
