The pre-exposure diaphragm stop down lever does not function. The mechanism in the lens is fine, and the lens stops down properly when the shutter fires. All the rest is good. The FM2 has a titanium shutter with a range of 1 to 1/4000th of a second. Shutter speeds, by sound, all vary'appropriately. Not scientific, but a rough test for sticking or otherwise not functioning.   Up for sale or best offer is one Vintage Rare Sigma APO MF Zoom Lens! I had it connected to an older Nikon Film camera recently. Unit recently removed from a local municipal facility due to equipment changes. Unit is overall very clean and appears to have been used little. The body of the lens has been painted a sort of camoflauge shade due to it being used in the outdoors. Glass is clean with no cracks or anything. Just a little dust from storage. Also includes some filters, an additional attachment, and original metal storage case. Case shows some minor wear/marker writing/etc....

The shutter fires and works well and fairly accurate at all except for the slow speeds. Sticks open at 1-1/10th sec. The leatherette is in nice shape. The viewfinder works well and is clean/clear.
