Vintage Exakta 500 Film Camera 35 mm. It comes with a Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 2.8 / 50 mm Lens # 8168037. Lens is in very good condition with no fungus or scratches. Has an etching marked out on the bottom of camera. Not Tested but shutter and winder work.   

   Here are TWO old 35mm SLR Cameras, from the 1950's & 1960's I think --- both made in East Germany (Soviet Germany)--- and Exakta VX and a VX-1000. Both have 50mm Zeiss lenses and both have operational problems. I'm no expert on these cameras but with some rudimentary examining, I can tell you this---- structurally, they are all fairly nice and solid---no major damage except for one thing, but otherwise have some light wear from age & use.    IHAGEE (EXAKTA) EXA TYPE 6 MINTY 35MM CAMERA W/ PRISM, 50MM 2.9 MERITAR LENS. Irror is in good condition, shows some cleaning marks. All shutter speeds accurate, B setting works. Prism finder shows no dust and ground glass some small scratches. Very nice working, ready to use, set. Comes with original take-up spool. Overall the camera shows really minor signs of prior use and is overall in very good, minty condition. Shows no scuff marks, no scratches, no dings, no dents. Camera is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. Jena Carl Zeiss Tessar F2.8 7.5cm lens is clear, there is no haze, or fungus. It has a few light scratches. This is a very nice Exata camera with it's original leather camera case. There is a dent on the edge of the lens.

Shutter fires but is inaccurate & the mirror sticks up. Mirror has wear & is missing some silvering. The taking film spool is a little loose. Focusing moves but is a little stiff. The aperture works - blades have minor oil & one is slightly deformed.
