   Released in 1964 the Yashica-Mat EM is an improved version of the Yashica-Mat LM in that it requires one less step in transferring the meter readings from the meter readout to the shutter speed and aperture wheels. Yashicamat 124 Twin Lens Reflex Tlr 120/220 12 Or 24 Exp. 6x6 Film Camera

The 124 has a coupled CdS meter which is activated by raising the viewfinder hood. It has the superior and brighter Yashinon f/2.8 80mm taking lens in a Copal-SV B 1-500 shutter and the benefit of the brighter f/2.8 Yashinon viewing lens, rather than the f/3.2 version. 120 film for 12 exposures or 220 film for 24 exposures can be used and it's simply a matter of sliding the internal film pressure plate to select the film type; this has the effect of setting the film spacing and the film counter accordingly.
