Camera is in good cosmetic condition for it's age. Jena Carl Zeiss Tessar F2.8 7.5cm lens is clear, there is no haze, or fungus. It has a few light scratches. The shutter releases and it seems functional, but previous owner notes. "Tap winding knob forward when mirror does not return, then wind". The case is in fair shape.   

The yashica Mat-124 camera has some fairly heavy wear, dings, niks and scratches on the body but, functions well and has no corrosion in battery compartment. I did not test the camera with film, did not have any available but, testing without film appears to function correctly. The camera was made in japan. I did not clean the camera extensively but enough to ensure no scratches on the lens glass and viewfinder is relatively scratch free. Please give us a chance to make things right. THIS IS A GOOD LOOKING VINTAGE C. JENA 80MM F2.8 TESSAR IN PRONTOR-SVS LARGE FORMAT CAMERA LENS. GLASS LOOKS FAIRLY CLEAN WITH NO MAJOR ISSUES. NO OIL ON THE APERTURE BLADES. ALL LENS FUNCTIONS WORK SMOOTHLY.   

   This is a NICE Old Heavy Camera! It's Not perfect, but it's got a lot of good going for it! A Nice example of a 80+ year old Used camera. It's technically a "Rangefinder" camera but it looks like a big Hasselblad SLR. It takes 620 Roll Film for making 6X9 cm images. It was made from about the mid 1940's through the mid 1950's--- I don't know exactly when. That lens is a 100mm f/3.5 Kodak Ektar--- a venerable workhorse from Eastman.
