   Brief Description of the Camera. I present to your attention a rare vintage Soviet collectible 35mm rangefinder camera Kyiv-4A with a Jupiter-8M f2/50mm lens. The camera was named after the capital of Ukraine, the hero city of Kyiv, where they are manufactured. Kyiv-4 was produced in 1957-87. It was produced at the largest ARSENAL plant (Kyiv). The serial number of the camera body is 7510316. This serial number dates this camera to 1975 according to the published production numbers. All functions have been tested and work properly. The camera is in good condition. Shutter speeds seem mostly accurate. It can be a bit more difficult to shift to lower shutter speeds. The viewfinder is slightly dim, though probably on par with other copies of the camera. The focusing patch is bright and seems aligned. The lens has a slight fog to it. The front element has the most markings, other lens elements are clear. Lens focus is very smooth. Camera was last serviced in June of 2009.   

There is some wear from use, age & storage, but overall it is still in good condition. Please see all photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions.
