This is a Leica M5 35mm Rangefinder Camera with Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 50mm f2 Lens. The camera shows minor signs of use. There is a very small chunk of leather missing just under the lens as shown in the photo. The lens looks very good with one very small spot about halfway between the center and edge of the lens.    Very attractive Mahogany and Brass half plate field camera. Ingenious index pin system for rising front. There is a lovely f8 Rapid Rectilinear lens on the correct circular lens panel.    This vintage camera appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition for it's age, the glass checked with flashlight, there's no scratches, fungus or haze, coating is great. The only thing Id like to disclose is that the front lens cover panel is slightly concave(see 11th picture) because some heavy books put on the camera for many years, the two light value knobs turning a bit tight(to speed 1/500), Please ensure you understand this when purchasing.
