The camera is in good condition. Shutter speeds seem mostly accurate. It can be a bit more difficult to shift to lower shutter speeds. The viewfinder is slightly dim, though probably on par with other copies of the camera. The focusing patch is bright and seems aligned. The lens has a slight fog to it. The front element has the most markings, other lens elements are clear. Lens focus is very smooth. Camera was last serviced in June of 2009.

For sale we have a Vintage Nikonos Underwater Camera First Model With Nikon Nikkor Lens 35mm 1:2.5. It has some general wear and it hasn't been tested. The buttons and knobs seems to function as they should. It sounds like it's taking a picture when you push the trigger. I'm not entirely sure how to open it to replace the film. I pulled the silver knob but that didn't seem to get the back to swing open like I thought it would. So it may come with some old film or it may not. It looks like it will mount up to a body and take photos just fine but we did notice some marks on the glass and some internal blemishes that would likely need to be addressed for it to truly be perfect.
