   Early 1936 Kodak Bantam Special Serial #3300 with Kodak 45mm Ektar f/2 Lens. Compur Rapid shutter serial number dates shutter to1935. Bantam has marks from use and old touch up spots. Please see detailed pictures for cosmetic condition. Camera opens easily and closes properly. Lens has nice front and rear elements. Front element has very tiny edge separation spot near the "na" on Anastigmat. Lens has light haze and two small areas of old very very fine light branch fungus inside.    Serial #1379 indicates this was the 379th of the approximately 2,000 made. 50mm f/1.9 Ektar Serial #EY1005 means it was made in 1940. There is a small ding on the lower left of the camera body (see the last two posted photos). No other scratches, leather is perfect, viewfinder clear. Lens is clear, focus stiff , iris is smooth, rangefinder accurate. The finest consumer camera Kodak ever made is, unfortunately, notorious for an imperfectly designed shutter.    Rolleiflex 3.5E2 camera with Xenotar 75mm f3.5 taking lens, Serial No E2 1871409. This camera is in very good condition considering it is approximately 60 years old. There is a slight amount of lifting of the edges of the leather cover on the front of the camera. The focusing screen has a small mark that is noticeable while focusing.
