Here is an opportunity to acquire a fine working example of a truly groundbreaking innovation in camera design. I enjoy finding broken historically significant cameras, and then restoring them to function. This camera is a relatively early example (SN 417xxx)of the Exakta VP Type A, one of the very first SLRs, coupled with an uncoated Zeiss75mm F3.5 Tessar Lens. It is in excellent condition, with a fully working lens that has clean diaphragm blades and very good glass, with only minimal haze and dust for a 90 year old lens. It can also be easily adapted to a number of digital systems ...

Here's your chance to own a Ricohmatic 225 from 1959! It's a 6x6 film camera with twin lens reflex. If you've come this far, you probably know a thing or two about vintage film photography. This one has a clean inside, and the film winder works. But I can't say if the shutter works. It doesn't release when I press the button, but I may not know how to work it. The photos show details of the condition. The case is torn in several places and I wouldn't use the strap because the leather is deteriorating. So the case and strap are more for collector's value. The camera is untested and I have ...

Beautiful Konica Pearl III medium-format folding camera in mint condition. This is an exceptionally well-preserved example of one of Konica's most desirable folding cameras, combining a compact, elegant design with excellent Japanese craftsmanship. The camera is in exceptional cosmetic condition, with the body, chrome, leatherette, and other exterior surfaces showing very little evidence of use. The camera presents beautifully and would make an excellent addition to a serious vintage camera collection. The Pearl III is a 120 film medium-format camera, producing approximately ...

Kodak Retina IIIC (big C) 35mm film rangefinder camera with Retina Xenon C 50mm f2 lens + Kodak Retina camera case. The shutter fires, however when it is set to 1/15th of a second and slower it is lagging / inconsistent / sticking open momentarily. All of the other (faster) shutter speeds seem to be fairly accurate. The light meter indicator reacts to varying light. The camera viewfinder is just slightly hazy/foggy to look through, relatively clear and definitely still completely useable in my opinion. The rangefinder function seems to be accurate. The focusing adjusts properly and ...
