   Here is quality made camera from the era when Kodak made some really high quality cameras and lenses. This used 620 roll film and I knew many folks who re spooled professional 120 film in these cameras because the lenses were so very sharp. It is serial number 121622. As you can see by the photos it looks way above average. I cannot get the shutter to cock and fire but I may not remember how. I cannot see any fungus in the lens. A real work horse camera here. If you are familiar with these cameras you wont be surprissed by this fact.    Serial #1379 indicates this was the 379th of the approximately 2,000 made. 50mm f/1.9 Ektar Serial #EY1005 means it was made in 1940. There is a small ding on the lower left of the camera body (see the last two posted photos). No other scratches, leather is perfect, viewfinder clear. Lens is clear, focus stiff , iris is smooth, rangefinder accurate. The finest consumer camera Kodak ever made is, unfortunately, notorious for an imperfectly designed shutter.    Nice fairly clean looking, Kodak Eastman View No 2, Improved Model of the Century, 8X10 Camera. 5 slides are included with the camera, as well as the Wollensak #4 camera lens. The camera appears to be opening/closing sliding on its track smoothly, just as it should. The bellows looks to be original and shows a little minor wear.
