   Up for sale here we have a RARE Vintage NIKON S 35mm Rangefinder Camera w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 1:1.5 5cm Lens. We had to do a lot of research to find out the model. We went to a online Nikon museum and found that this is a S model (we think so anyways). It was manufactured in 1951 we believe. Also with the camera is a Carl Zeiss lens. The lens has no fungus or haze or any internal issues as far as we can see. We haven't tested anything on the camera as it is not in our wheel house. The camera is not perfect and shows age and use.    This is a camera that I've owned for 8 years, but have found myself reaching for smaller and smaller cameras as I get older. This was designed to be used on a studio stand in a studio, but I used to take it in the field (but only within walking distance of the car). It's in very nice shape for its age. The Yashica-D was made between 1958 to 1974. It features quick and easily visible aperture and speed setting by thumb wheels which display the readings in a small window above the top lens.
